How to Get Your Porting Information from Boost Mobile

If you're transferring your number from Boost Mobile to another service provider, you’ll need your account number and a Boost Mobile port-out PIN. Boost Mobile has different system types (newer Boost One accounts and older legacy Sprint-based accounts), so your steps may vary. This guide walks you through everything you need.

Before You Begin: Important Boost Mobile Rules

Boost Mobile does not charge a fee to port out, but keep these things in mind:

• Keep your line active — do not cancel before porting
• Any remaining device financing balance will appear on your next bill
• If you return to Boost later, discontinued plans or add-ons may not be available
• Any promotions or benefits linked to your line will be lost after you transfer
• Each line requires its own port-out PIN
• Once your number ports out, that line will automatically disconnect

1. How to Find Your Boost Mobile Account Number

Your account number may or may not appear online depending on the type of Boost account you have.

Boost Mobile (Boost One App / Dish Network accounts)

These accounts sometimes display the account number.

Check in the Boost One App:

  1. Open the Boost One app

  2. Go to Account

  3. Tap Profile

  4. If available, your Account Number will appear here

If it’s not displayed:
• You must contact Boost support to retrieve it

Boost Mobile (Legacy Sprint-Based accounts)

Older Boost accounts do not show the account number online or in any app.

• Contact Boost Customer Care to get your account number
• You may be asked to verify your identity using your account PIN or recent payment information

2. How to Get Your Boost Mobile Port-Out PIN

A Port-Out PIN is required for each number you want to transfer to another carrier.

How to get your port-out PIN

Boost requires customers to call support:

📞 Call Boost Customer Care at (833) 502-6678

• Tell them you need your Port-Out PIN
• Each line needs its own PIN
• Boost will verify your identity before giving it to you

Important Notes

• Do not cancel your Boost line — the port will fail
• Your account stays active until all lines complete their transfer
• Once the port finishes, the line will automatically disconnect

3. How to Get a Recent Copy of Your Boost Mobile Bill

Boost does not offer traditional PDF billing statements, but you can view your billing and payment information online or in the app.

View billing information online

  1. Sign in to your Boost account online

  2. Check Billing, Payment History, or Account Activity

View billing information in the Boost Mobile app

  1. Open the Boost Mobile or Boost One app

  2. Go to Account

  3. Select Payments, Billing History, or Plan Details

If your new carrier requests proof of ownership

You can provide:

• A screenshot of your payment history
• A screenshot showing your number and plan
• A payment receipt emailed to you
• Or request account confirmation from Boost support

4. How to Request CSR Information or Contact Boost Mobile

A CSR (Customer Service Record) is a document or set of details that some gaining carriers request to verify number ownership. Boost Mobile does not provide downloadable CSR files, but they can confirm the information normally found in a CSR.
