Residential - Numbers Tab Overview
The Numbers tab in your Voiply Residential Portal is where you manage everything related to your phone numbers. This includes viewing your active number, checking its status, adding a description, and tracking any number porting activity. If you ever need to confirm whether your number is active or check the status of a port request, this is the place to look.
How to Access the Numbers Tab
-
Log in to your Voiply Residential Portal at https://app.voiply.com/portal-login
-
From the left-hand menu, click Numbers
You’ll land on the Numbers page, which is divided into two main sections:
-
Active Numbers
-
Porting Cases

Active Numbers Section
The Active Numbers section shows all phone numbers currently assigned to your account.
Here’s what each column means:
-

Displays your active Voiply phone number. -
Status
Shows whether the number is active. If your service is up and running, you’ll see Active. -
Description
A label used to help identify the number internally. This may appear as a system-generated ID unless you update it. -
Actions
This column contains icons you can use to manage your number:-
Edit (pencil icon)
Clicking the edit icon opens the number settings panel.
From here, you can:
-
Update the number description (internal label)
-
Mark the number as your Primary Number
-
Add or update an SMS to Email address
-
Review the phone number details before saving changes
Be sure to click Save Number to apply any updates.
-
-
Remove (X icon)
This option is disabled for most residential accounts. If you need help removing or replacing a number, contact Voiply Support.
-
If you only have one number, you’ll see a single entry here. Multiple numbers will appear as a list.
Porting Cases Section
The Porting Cases section displays any requests to transfer an existing phone number to Voiply.
This section is especially helpful if you chose to keep your current number when signing up, or if you requested a number transfer after your order was placed.
What You’ll See in Porting Cases
-
Date Created
When the port request was submitted. -
End User Name
The name associated with the port request. -
Billing Telephone Number (BTN)
The primary number listed on your previous carrier’s bill. -

View additional details related to the port request.
If no port requests have been submitted yet, you’ll see a message indicating that no porting cases have been created.
You can also use the dropdown in the top-right of this section to switch between Active Ports and other porting views, if available.
