Troubleshooting: Device Not Connecting to the Internet

Steps to Restore Internet Connectivity for Your Device

Verify Setup

  • Turn off the device – Power off the device to ensure it can reset any temporary issues.
  • Reposition the device – Move the device to an open area or near a window to avoid interference and improve signal strength.
  • Check and switch the antennas – Swap the two antennas (left to right), ensuring both are tightly screwed in. This ensures both antennas are securely connected and functioning.
  • Turn the device back on – Power the device back on and check if the connection is restored.

Factory Reset the Device

  • Locate the reset button – The factory reset button is located in a small hole on the connection side of the gateway.
  • Reset the device – Use a paperclip or similar tool. Insert it into the hole and press down on the button for at least 30 seconds. Ensure the device is connected to power throughout this process.
  • Wait for the reset to complete – Once the reset is initiated, allow a few minutes for the device to fully reboot and return to factory settings. You may need to reconfigure your settings after this step.
