SMS to Email lets you receive text messages sent to your Voiply phone number directly in your email inbox. This is helpful if you prefer reading messages on your computer or want a written record outside the portal. You can enable or update this setting anytime from your Voiply portal.

What SMS to Email Does

  • Forwards incoming SMS messages to an email address you choose

  • Keeps your text messages accessible outside the portal

  • Does not affect your ability to receive calls on the number

How to Enable SMS to Email

Follow these steps to turn on SMS to Email for a phone number.

Step 1: Log in to Your Voiply Portal

Sign in at:
https://www.voiply.com

Step 2: Open the Numbers Section

  • From the left-hand menu, click Numbers

  • You’ll see a list of your active phone numbers

Step 3: Edit the Phone Number

  • Locate the phone number you want to update

  • Click the edit (pencil) icon under the Actions column

This opens the number settings window.

Step 4: Enter Your Email Address

  • Find the SMS To Email section

  • Enter the email address where you want to receive SMS messages

Make sure the email address is typed correctly.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

  • Click Save Number

Your SMS to Email setting takes effect immediately.

Good to Know

  • You can change or update the email address at any time

  • Only SMS messages are forwarded, not voice calls or voicemails

  • If you stop receiving messages, double-check the email address and spam folder
