Premier - How to Factory Reset Your Grandstream Phone

A factory reset will restore your phone to its original settings and erase any saved configurations. Please contact our support team before performing a factory reset — in many cases, the issue can be resolved without one.These steps apply to Grandstream phones only.

Standard Phone (GXP 16xx)

  1. Press the middle button on the directional pad to open the menu.
  2. Scroll down and select System.
  3. Scroll down and select Factory Reset.
  4. Press OK to confirm.
  5. Press OK again to proceed.
  6. Your phone will reboot and restore to factory settings.

Deluxe / Receptionist Phone (GXP 21xx)

  1. Press the middle button on the directional pad to open the menu.
  2. Select System.
  3. Scroll down and select Factory Reset.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Your phone will reboot and restore to factory settings.
