Setting up Voicemail to Email
This feature allows you to receive voicemail messages directly in your email inbox — no need to dial into a voicemail system. With Voicemail to Email, you can read a transcribed message, listen to the audio file attachment, and save or archive both for future reference.
Note: Voiply number parking customers cannot activate Voicemail to Email and Announcement features simultaneously. If an announcement is enabled, the system plays the announcement but does not allow the caller to leave a voicemail that will be forwarded via email. Conversely, if Voicemail to Email is activated, callers can leave messages, but no announcement will play beforehand.
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1 – Log in to Your Portal
Log in to your Voiply portal at voiply.com.
Step 2 – Navigate to Configure Voicemail
From the Quick Actions section on your dashboard, click Configure > under Configure Voicemail.

Step 3 – Set Up Your Voicemail Greeting
In the Manage Voicemail panel, click Configure Message next to the Greeting Message field to record or upload your voicemail greeting.

Step 4 – Create a Recording
You will be prompted to create a recording. You have two options:
- Text to Speech – Type your greeting and have it converted to audio.
- Upload a File – Upload a pre-recorded .wav or .mp3 file.

Option A: Text to Speech
- Select a voice from the dropdown menu (e.g., English – Ava Multilingual). Multiple English voice options are available, including Multilingual and Turbo variants.

- Type your greeting message in the text box (e.g., "Please leave a message.").
- Click Convert to generate the audio.

Option B: Upload a File
- Click the upload area and select a .wav or .mp3 file from your device.

- Once uploaded, you can preview the recording using the audio player before saving.

Step 5 – Enter Your Email Address
⚠️ This step is required. Without a valid email address, voicemail messages will not be delivered to your inbox.
Back in the Manage Voicemail panel, enter the email address where you'd like to receive voicemail notifications in the Email Address field. Make sure the email address is correct and active — this is where all voicemail audio files and transcriptions will be sent.

Step 6 – Save Your Settings
Click Save in the top right of the Manage Voicemail panel to apply your changes.
