Voiply Fax: What Is the Overage Behavior Setting?
The Overage Behavior setting lets you decide what Voiply Fax does when you hit your monthly page limit — either keep sending at a small per-page fee, or stop automatically.
Every Voiply Fax plan comes with a set number of pages you can send each month. The Overage Behavior setting controls what happens when you reach that limit.
You have two options:
- Keep sending — Your faxes go through as normal. Each extra page is charged at your plan's per-page rate. This is the default setting.
- Stop — Voiply Fax stops sending once you hit your monthly limit. No extra charges will be added.
📌 Note: If you are on a free trial, faxes will always stop at your trial page cap regardless of this setting.

💸 What Do Extra Pages Cost?
If your setting is set to Keep sending and you go over your monthly limit, here is what each extra page costs:

Extra page charges will appear on your next invoice.
⚙️ How to Check or Change Your Setting
- Go to fax.voiply.com/login and sign in to your account.
- In the left menu, click Settings.
- Click Overage Behavior in the settings list.
- Toggle Keep sending after your quota on or off based on your preference.
- Your change saves automatically — no Save button needed.
💡 Helpful Tips
- If you send time-sensitive faxes and cannot afford a missed transmission, turning Keep sending on gives you peace of mind.
- If you want to avoid unexpected charges, turning it off means faxes will stop at your limit each month.
- You can also change this setting at any time — there is no waiting period.
- If you find yourself going over your limit often, upgrading your plan may save you money.
