A Step-by-step guide on setting up you Call Blocking via Voilpy Call Filtering
Blocking Specific Numbers
- You can just log in to your portal and navigate to the Call Filtering section.
- Enable the feature by toggling the switch ON.
- Enter the phone number you wish to block.
- Click the Plus (+) icon to add the number to your blocked list.
- You will see the blocked number appear in the list below.
- Click Save Changes to update your Call Filtering rules.
Blocking Numbers with Wildcards
Want to block a range of numbers? You can use the wildcard feature by replacing certain digits with “x.”
For example:
- 412123xxxx will block all numbers starting with 412-123.
Contacts-Only Calling (Most Restrictive)
This setting allows only calls from your saved contacts to ring through. All other numbers will be blocked.
To enable:
- Turn on the Contacts-Only Calling feature using the toggle.
- Add numbers to your Allowed Contacts List by entering the number and clicking the Plus (+) icon.
- Click Save Changes to apply.
⚠ Note: If this setting is enabled, all numbers that are not in your Allowed Contacts List will be blocked.
Parental Call Blocking (For Outbound Calls)
If you need to restrict outgoing calls to certain numbers, use the Parental Call Blocking feature.
- Enable the feature using the toggle.
- Enter the number you want to block for outgoing calls.
- Click the Plus (+) icon to add it to the blocked list.
- Click Save Changes to apply your settings.
Final Step: Save Your Changes!
To ensure all your call filtering preferences are applied, always click the Save Changes button after making updates.
