Residential - How to Use Do Not Disturb (DND) in the Portal

Need a break from phone calls? The Do Not Disturb (DND) feature allows you to temporarily block all incoming calls by forwarding them directly to voicemail — perfect for meetings, focus time, or just some peace and quiet.

🛑 What Happens When DND Is Enabled

When DND is active:

  • All incoming calls are automatically forwarded to your voicemail.

  • Your phone won’t ring or show incoming calls.

  • DND will turn off automatically after the selected time period ends.

  • You can also manually turn it off anytime.


🚀 How to Enable DND

  1. Log in to your Residential Account Portal.

  2. Go to the Call Filtering tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Global DND (Do not disturb) section.

  4. Use the dropdown to select a duration (e.g., “Block Calls for 15 Mins”).

  5. Click the red 🚫 Block All Calls button.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Once activated, you’ll see a confirmation showing the exact time when DND will expire.


✅ How to Disable DND Early

  1. Go back to the Global DND section.

  2. Click the green ▶ Enable Calls button to resume call ringing immediately.

  3. Click Save Changes. 

If you don’t manually disable it, DND will automatically turn off at the scheduled time. 


🔁 Things to Keep in Mind

  • DND affects all devices connected to your Voiply line.

  • Voicemails will still be received while DND is active.

  • You can change the duration anytime — just reselect and click the block button again.
