Premier - Managing Users in Your Portal
The Users tab in your Voiply portal helps you manage account users, their extensions, outbound caller ID settings, and role permissions. It provides a clear overview and editing tools to keep your team organized and your communication flowing smoothly.
🔍 Search and View Users
Use the Search field to quickly locate a user by name or email. You’ll see a list of active users along with key information:

User Name & Extension (e.g., Ext: 203)

Email Address
-
Roles (Voice, Admin, Owner)
-
Outbound Caller ID
-
Actions (Edit, Reset, or Remove the user)
⚙️ Editing a User's Settings
To update user information, click the ✏️ Edit icon under the Actions column.
This opens a popup window where you can manage key details:
Inside the popup, you can:

Update the Email Address: This is used for logging in, receiving voicemails, and other notifications.

Send Invitation: Use the Send Invitation button to email access instructions to the user.

Assign Roles:

Voice
: Standard access to calling features. -
Admin
: Permission to manage portal settings. -
Owner
: Full administrative and billing access.

Set Outbound Caller ID: Choose the public-facing number used when this user makes outbound calls.
Don’t forget to click Save to apply any changes.
➕ Adding a New User
Click the + New User button at the top of the Users tab to invite someone new. You must have an available license to proceed (displayed at the top of the page).
❌ Removing a User
If a user no longer needs access, you can remove them using the ❌ icon under Actions. This also frees up their license slot for a new user.
📱 Voiply Apps
At the top-right of the Users tab, you’ll find download links for Voiply’s mobile and desktop apps, available for:

This makes it easy for your team to stay connected on the go.
