How to Set Up Call Forwarding: Step-by-Step Guide for Seamless Call Redirection
Call forwarding allows you to redirect incoming calls to another phone number, ensuring that you never miss an important call. Follow these steps to enable and customize your call forwarding settings in Voiply.
1. Access the Call Forwarding Settings
- Log in to your Voiply Business account.
- Navigate to the dashboard.
- Under "Quick Actions," click "Call Forwarding"
2. Configure Call Forwarding Options
Once you open the Manage Call Forwarding window, you will find the following settings:
A. Enable Call Forwarding
- This toggle switch allows you to enable or disable call forwarding.
- When enabled, all incoming calls will be forwarded to the specified number.
- When disabled, calls will ring as usual on your Voiply extension.
B. Enter Forwarding Number
- This field allows you to input the phone number to which incoming calls will be forwarded.
- Make sure to enter the correct number to ensure smooth call redirection.
C. Ring All (Optional)
- This toggle switch determines whether both your extension and the forwarding number will ring at the same time.
- If enabled, calls will ring on both devices simultaneously.
- If disabled, only the forwarded number will receive calls.
3. Save Your Settings
After configuring the desired options, click the "Save" button at the top.
Your call forwarding settings will now be applied.
