[Porting Your Number](https://kb.voiply.com/porting-your-number) # Porting - How to port your number out of Voiply ## Step-by-Step Guide to Porting Your Number from Voiply **Transferring Your Number from Voiply** Transferring your number away from Voiply is a straightforward and customer-friendly process. We do **not** place any blocks or restrictions on porting out your number. To begin, contact us through our **Support Chat** feature located in the lower right corner of your screen. Once your account is verified, let our team know which number you’d like to transfer. We’ll generate a **Customer Service Record (CSR)**, which contains all the required information for your new provider to initiate the port. Your account must remain **active during the porting process** to ensure a successful transfer. The CSR will be sent to you via **email**, along with a link to complete the **cancellation process** once your number has been successfully transferred. The porting process usually takes **7–10 business days**, depending on your new provider.
