Starter Plan - How to Enable Call Forwarding

A Step-by-step guide on enabling Call forwarding from your account portal.

To enable call forwarding:

  1. From your Dashboard, go to Quick Actions and click on Call Forwarding (Forward to external numbers). 
  2. In the Manage Call Forwarding window, toggle on Enable Call Forwarding.
  3. Enter your Forwarding Number in the field provided (US numbers only, 10 digits).
  4. If you also want your extension to ring at the same time as the forwarding number, toggle on Simultaneous Ring.
  5. Click Save. 

Note: Simultaneous Ring lets your extension and the forwarding number ring at the same time, so you can answer from either one.

Can I forward my calls to any phone number?

Call forwarding is available to US numbers only. You can forward your Voiply calls to any valid 10-digit US phone number, including a cell phone, home line, or office number.

Forwarding to international and Canadian numbers is not supported at this time.

This is a useful backup option if your internet goes down, or if you want your calls to follow you while you are away.
