How to create and configure a Ring Group

Step by step guide on how to create a ring group.

Ring Groups allow you to join multiple extensions or users to ring all at once. They are useful for efficiently distributing calls throughout a business.

To setup a ring group in your business, please follow the steps below.

Login to your Portal

 

  1. Under Applications, click on Ring Groups
  2. Click on "Create a Group"
  3. Enter or Create your Ring Group name
  4. Set the no. of rings before the calls goes to Voicemail (Total Ring Duration:)
  5. Which voicemail box the call will route if no one answers or if the calls are missed. (Timeout voicemail audio)
  6. Select which member or user to add.
  7. Add the Member
  8. Save the Ring Group

Note: You can add multiple users in the Group by selecting another user and by clicking on +Add member button.

All Ring Group List will show here and simply click on the Ring Group Name to update settings.
