How to Use a Splitter with Your Voiply Adapter

You can connect more than one phone to your Voiply Adapter by using a standard RJ11 splitter. This guide explains what you need, how to set it up, and a few important things to keep in mind.

What You’ll Need

  • An RJ11 telephone splitter

  • Your Voiply Adapter

  • The phones you want to connect

Splitters are easy to find at most hardware stores or online retailers like Amazon.


How to Set It Up

  1. Plug the RJ11 splitter into the green Phone port on the back of your Voiply Adapter.

  2. Connect your phones to the two ports on the splitter.

  3. Once connected, both phones will be able to make and receive calls using your Voiply service.

Important Notes

  • You can connect two phones using a splitter, but they cannot be used at the same time.

  • Fax machines are not supported when using the Voiply Adapter.
