Residential - Guide to Set Up International Calling

International calling on Voiply is protected by a PIN to help prevent unauthorized use. To keep things simple, Voiply uses one PIN for both voicemail and international calling. This article explains how to find, set, or update that PIN.

Purpose

This guide explains how to enable international calling and understand how the international dialing PIN works in the updated Voiply portal.

How to Enable International Calling

Follow these steps from your account portal:

  1. Log in to your Voiply account
    https://app.voiply.com/portal-login

  2. Locate the International Dialing Preferences section.

  3. Toggle Allow International Call to On.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Once enabled, international dialing will be active on your account.

International Dialing PIN Explained

  • When international dialing is enabled, you may be prompted to enter a PIN before completing an international call.

  • This PIN is the same as your voicemail PIN.

  • Do not share your PIN by email or other insecure methods, as it protects your account from unauthorized use.

If you need to update your PIN, update your voicemail password and the international dialing PIN will update automatically.

Additional Notes

  • There is no separate international calling PIN to manage.

  • Changes take effect immediately after clicking Save Changes.

  • If you are prompted for a PIN while dialing internationally, enter your voicemail PIN.
