Premier - Finding the IP Address for Grandsteam Phones

This guide walks you through how to find the IP address on your Grandstream desk or wireless phone. These steps apply to the GXP 16xx, GXP 21xx, and WP8xx model series.

Grandstream Standard or Deluxe/Receptionist Phone (GXP 16xx and GXP 21xx)

  1. Press the middle button on the directional pad to open the menu.
  2. Scroll to Status.
  3. Select Network Status.
  4. Your IPv4 address will be listed here. Example: 192.168.1.122

Grandstream Wireless Phone (WP8xx)

  1. Press the middle button on the directional pad to open the menu.
  2. Use the directional pad to navigate to Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Status.
  4. Scroll down to find your IP address. Example: 192.168.1.122

Phone Not Showing an IP Address?

If your phone does not display an IP address, try restarting it. This allows the phone to request a new address from your router or modem.

If the phone still does not show an IP address after restarting, your network may need attention. In that case, we recommend reaching out to an IT professional for help.
