Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for Voiply Home Service

Already have your own VoIP adapter? You can use it with Voiply Home instead of waiting for a new one. Our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option supports select Grandstream models, so you can get started using your own equipment quickly and easily.

Key Details

  • Supported Devices: Grandstream HT801 and Grandstream HT802 (both support 1 phone line)

  • Other Models: Not supported and will not work with our service

  • What You’ll Need: A working Grandstream adapter that you can factory reset

  • Setup Steps: You just need to set up the device and do a factory reset of the adapter

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Choose the BYOD Option When Ordering

  1. Start your Voiply Home order online.

  2. When you reach the “Your Pre-Order Offers” section, scroll down to the bottom.

  3. Check the box that says “I already have my own compatible VoIP Adapter (BYOD)”.

  4. Complete your order; no hardware will be shipped.

2. Send Us Your Device Information

After you place your order:

  1. Find the MAC Address and Serial Number on the bottom of your Grandstream adapter.

  2. Reply to your Voiply order confirmation email and include both numbers.

  3. Our team will register your device and send you your setup instructions.

3. Set Up Your Device

Once your device has been registered, you just need to:

  1. Do a factory reset on your Grandstream HT801 or HT802.

  2. Set up the device using the instructions and details provided in your Voiply email.

  3. Connect your home phone to the adapter and plug it into your router.

That’s it! Your Voiply Home service will be ready to use once setup is complete.
